Its funny how relationships between people develop and turn out. Life is full of twists and surprises eh.. you'll never know what you gonna get.
2 or 3 years ago when i was doing my US road trip, i met these 2 French. David and his cousin Laura, at a hostel at Hollywood. We shared a room with them, and we gave them tickets toUniversal Studios cos it was a 2 day pass and we didn't need it for the 2nd day. Somehow.. we exchanged contacts and he's on my msn. But never really spoke to him ever since.. hehe.
NOW.. he's on internship in Barcelona and i will be bunking with him at his place when i visit Barcelona. woohoo~ sweeet. Im happy now. :)
CUrrent state: Just enjoying my last few days in Warsaw and in Sabinki. I cant tell you how sad i am sending my friends off the last few days. Babsi, patricio, federick, philip. I miss them so much.. so so so much. Enjoying my last few days...
Less than 2...
Time really flies. Its such a cliché but its so so true. It feels like I just got here, moved into my room. But day by day, time just flew by like this. Just have less than 2 weeks left here in warsaw.. and this Friday we’ll have our last boat party for all the exchange peeps.
I feel damn sad la.. Really. You can really grow to like Warsaw, no matter how gloomy it can get, how erratic the weather can get, how the pple here can’t speak English, how you always buy the wrong stuff cos you cant speak the language.
I love Sabinki, a place I’ve been calling ‘home’ for the last 4 months. I love hostel life, how we run around from room to room when you are bored, when u need company, when u just feel like chilling with friends. Cooking in the kitchen, and pple bitching about my horrible cooking (which has improved by leaps and bounds).. Holding a toilet roll and walking down the corridor to take a crap. Watching a movie on the laptop together. Fooling around. Chilling at the park, enjoying the sun. Parties at the corridor. Tolerating parties right outside your room. The fire alarm going off. Having a roommate. Queuing for the washing machine, drying my clothes. I’ll miss this so so so much.
Patricio & Babsi will leave next tues.. I’ll leave for my Eurotrip next Sunday. I still have almost 2 months here in Europe.. but its all going to be so different as we each go our different ways.
Skydiving
Finally took the dive. Oh, it was amazing!! Though it was really tiring cos i had only 1 hour of sleep the night before.. And we took a 2 hour train ride there and waited the whole day for good weather to jump. I enjoyed it alot.. :)
Must say though, it was really EXCITING but not as adrenaline rushing as i thought it would be. It was actually really enjoyable,serene and peaceful sailing down from there. And the freefall was pure fun and excitement.. not really scary though. was more exciting than scary. i had a great tandem guy who jumped with me, and great camera guy who had to jump with meto take the video. the video will behere in 2 weeks, perhaps i would post it then.
I really liked it.. will probably do it again if i have the cash. :)

Wahahahaha. There's no turning back now. Have already booked my dive for the 12th may at 1pm. Scary. ahha. What made me do it was really... when i watched the video on youtube. I told myself, there is NO WAY im not going to do this man. I so have to do it. And so i will. :) Will be heading for a 12 day trip to Prague > Vienna > Budapest tonight.. yeah yeah. To dive or not to dive?
Gosh..im really in turmoil over this.
Been thinking about whether to skydive or not for 2 days..and i still can't decide!
Its like almost $275 for 40secs of freefall, then a few more minutes of gliding on your parachute. And you get a video for $100. CRAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP.
Im scared though. Sheesh. Im seldom scared...dang dang dang. Imagine jumping off a plane, then reaching terminal velocity and gliding in the air. shudders.
